Apple is officially retailing the SIM-free iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in the US. This means that the phone won’t have a carrier and a mobile number bundled it. If you want to avoid the hassle of getting the phone ‘unlocked’ at your local tech market, right now’s the time to get a friend or family member to deliver the phone.

The phone supports both CDMA and GSM networks – you just need to click “SIM-free” on the iPhone 7 section (on the US site), and you can select the finish and storage size.
But it can take 6 to 8 weeks for incredibly popular Jet Black version. In the US, Apple offers 18 months of special financing.
